These old-vine Zinfandel grapes are taken entirely from gnarly, head-trained vines in the Watts Vineyard. The wine is aged in 3% new and 7% one year old American barrels for six months. The result is a full bodied wine with soft tannin and rich mouth feel. Classic Zinfandel notes of berry, tea and plum combine with light spicy oak tones.
