Brilliant salmon in colour, this wine is voluptuous and velvety. An intense nose exudes aromas of caramelised fruits (redcurrant jam, figs, citrus fruits, raisins) as well as a certain freshness brought about by fragrances such as licorice. After several minutes chocolaty and vanilla notes come to the fore. In the mouth, the wine evokes pink grapefruit and dried fruit (hazelnuts, almonds), finishing on notes of spices (ginger bread, cinnamon). A wine of great elegance, this wine presents a clean attack and a strong finish based on present yet delicately expressed tannins. An evident sensuality dominates in mid palate.
