vintage will be remembered as a challenging one in Rioja, beginning with storms and hail in spring. The summer months saw better conditions with increased temperatures which accelerated growth, however significant heatwaves meant careful vineyard management was needed to monitor the ripeness of the grapes. Despite the difficult year, the grapes showed great concentration and freshness at harvest.
