One-off bottling of Aglianico and Code di Volpe Rossa / Piedirosso. Spicy nose, mace and
cedar, lavender and bramble fruits at the end of summer. A racing to down the highway
with the top down freshness and linearity; a gliding of bitter
wormwood (or, maybe I am channeling Luigi in his Morgan roadster,
racing from Napoli to Milan and back as he tells me about life).
It's not so much a vertical wine, it’s one that sluices from attack to
finish. There were 666 bottles made. Luigi made this wine for the 10th
anniversary Sponz Music Festival in Irpinia organized by the great folk
singer Vinicio Caposella.
