From Leyda, in the heart of the San Antonio Valley, we wanted to show the unique characteristics ofthisregion. Our vineyards in Leyda are locatedonly 12 km (7 mi) from the Pacific Ocean, andis in the middle of a geological zone denominated as batolito costero (acoastal mass of eruptedrocks that formed anearthcrust at great depth), in which granitic soils dominate. These soils mixed together well with the alluvial deposits comingfrom the Maipo River and Andes Mountains and generated a very particular terrain. This, along with a semi-arid climate shaped by the influence ofthe coldseabecause of the Humboldt Current, has determineda uniqueterroir and is reflected with elegance and personality in our wines.San Antonio Valley:Chile s Most Radical Cool Regionwww.montgras.clDescriptionAppearance:Pale straw yellow.Aromas:Fresh citric and tropical fruit aromas blended with touches grass.Flavours:Voluptuous and wide, with a crispy and citric acidity that gives arich juiciness and makes the wine impressively fresh.Varietal Composition:1% Sauvignon Blanc.AppellationVineyards::Chile.MontGras Property (Amaral Estate).Trellis System:Vertical shoot.Vinification ProcessHarvest Date:Grapes were selected and handpicked between5thof Marchand5thofApril, 212.PressingFermentation Turbidity::Neumatic press, destemmed grapes.Around 1 NTU.Yeast:B2Fermentation Tº:Between 12ºand 16ºC / 54º and 61ºF.Fining and Stabilization:Bentonite, ictiocole and cold stabilization at-4 ºC / 25º F.Filtration:Sterile bottling. In Stainless Steel Tanks:1% of the blend was fermented and aged in stainless steel.Alcohol:13,7%.Residual Sugar:4.6gr/lt.Total Acidity:5,62gr/lt (as tartaric acid).pH:3.18Cases Produced:2, AnalysisServing SuggestionsGlassware:RiedelTemperature:1-11° C / 5º-52º FFood PairingWinemaker::This wine goes excellentwith fresh sea food such as oysters, cebiche, salads orsimply, to be enjoyed on its own!Santiago Margozzini
