Primitivo often has a spiciness and this is delicious in the Papale, but it wraps in up with complexity, lovely texture and a pure fruit intensity. Aromas of kirsch, plum and spicy oak. Ultra-silky on the palate, with layers of spice and ripe black cherry and blueberry fruits; plush and intense. Has good freshness right through to the finish.
