Winemaker Marc Piro knew he wanted to be a winemaker as a child, and today has not only realized that dream but done so in an incredible fashion. After cutting his teeth with legendary Central Coast winemakers Jim Clendenen and Bob Lindquist, he launched Piro Wine Company to leave his own (delicious) mark on the Central Coast. This Chardonnay comes from a vineyard site less than 20 miles from the Pacific ocean, allowing the grapes to maintain the crisp acidity that makes Central Coast Chardonnays so refreshing.
