Fresh aromas of juniper and sage unfold to smoked meat and cassis; the palate is dark and juicy supported by fresh cigar and toffee flavors; followed by dusty cocoa powder and tight structure on a clean, focused finish. Upon pressing, the wine was racked to French Oak barrels, of which 40% were new. The final wine is then aged in barrel for 24 months. Blend: 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec.
