Aged to perfection in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, this is where Zacapa Rum develops its complex flavor and character. Using a process of patience, richness, quality and master blending, the liquid is aged in casks that previously held bourbon whiskey, sherry and Pedro Ximenez wines. It is then aged for a second time in charred bourbon oak casks. The final result is an artisanal rum wrapped in a hand-woven Mayan petate band to epitomize our focus on tradition and quality.
