A very intense, almost impenetrable red in colour, its bouquet is broad, refined and captivating, with notes of leather and tobacco. To the palate it is extraordinarily structured, of great harmony and surprisingly soft. The name Borgonero evokes a former farming settlement on the land of Borgo Scopeto.
