Named in honor of the fearless women who fought in the Mexican Revolution and became known as La Adelita. La Adelita Tequila is harvested and distilled on a Single Estate Plantation located in the heart of the highlands of Jalisco, where the best Agave is grown. La Adelita is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and distilled in small, Cuban Copper Pot Stills. The Reposado is aged 3 months in second-use American Oak whiskey barrels. The barrels are then re-toasted in Mexico to a medium toast. Perfumed with dill and just-ripened agave, the final expression is semi-sweet yet buffered by salinity; toffee, oak, and walnut dot the palate with dryness. The edgy texture grips and almost tightens the tongue before a bold finish of tobacco and mocha.
