This wine is the closest Campi Taurasini gets to being Taurasi. The single vineyard cru of Satyricon stradles the zone of Taurasi, and is an incredible example of the power and finess that can be obtained through biodynamically farmed Aglianico. Luigi Tecci's Satyricon is the lightest of the wines in his canon, which despite this statement, is still incredibly powerful. Nuanced by intense aromatics of black fruit, sage and earth, this wine is a perfect pairing for hearty meat and game dishes.
