A blending of different vineyards from the village of Solutré, the grapes are hand-harvested when fully ripe and pressed immediately by pneumatic press. The juice then goes through static settling. Only clear juices are vinified for 90% in stainless steel tanks and 10% in 1 to 3 years old barrels. The wine is matured on the lees and regularly stirred. It is then fined and filtered before bottling. Tasting: The limestone soil of Solutré produce lively, mineral wines with aromas of white flowers and hazelnuts. A rich, round wine. Serve with shellfish, grilled fish, white meats or goat cheese.
