Yeni Raki is what we’d call a classic Turkish ‘table liqueur,’ that is it can sit on the table for the entire length of a meal and be enjoyed before, during and after. Made from grapes and mixed with aniseed on the second distillation, its characteristic aniseed flavour is further developed after a minimum of 30 days of ageing. Best enjoyed with a trickle of cold water to make it cloudy and sipped at your leisure.
